Hary Tanoe buys Bhakti Investama at IDR3.6 billion

JAKARTA - Hary Tanoesoebidjo executed buyback action over Bhakti Investama shares with a value of IDR3.6 billion, after sold off them at IDR483.78 billion last year. Director of Bhakti Investama Tbk Wandhy Wira Riady, in the Company's official statement on Monday (2/25), said Hary Tanoe bought back 7.5 million shares at IDR485 per share on February 19. Previously, Hary Tanoe sold off as many as 252.8 million shares at IDR530 on December 27, 2012. A day later, the owner of MNC Group sold 660 million shares at the price level IDR530 per share on December 28. Based on the calculation, Hary received IDR133.98 billion in the first selling action and IDR349.8 billion in the second action or around 483.78 billion in total. Based on unaudited financial statement, net profit in 2012 was recorded at IDR679 billion, up sharply by 178% from IDR244 billion. This is mainly sustained by the consolidated revenues from both the media and the financial services segment which rose 25% to IDR9.6 trillion from IDR7.7 trillion. (t03/tw)
